WIth locations in San Diego and Coachella Valley, we hope that we are the right divorce mediator for you and near you. This can help facilitate face-to-face meetings if needed, but we can also work virtually through zoom or via a conference call if needed.
Divorce mediation is a very viable alternative than going the litigation route. Not only does it allow couples to end the marriage on their own terms, but also helps couples avoid going to court and outrageous lawyer fees!
Divorce Mediation Services
Having helped 100s of couples throughout Southern California, we understand how overwhelming a divorce can be. It is painful, and real feelings are involved. So its important to provide a comfortable atmosphere that each party is able to explain their needs without having to feel attacked. Our job is to work with both of you to resolve issues, so once the marital settlement agreement is finished, it can be submitted to the courts and you both can move on.
Just a few of the MANY issues we can help resolve:
Equitable distribution of marital assets; i.e., the sale of a home, other real estate holdings, stock portfolios, etc.
Equitable distribution of credit card debts, loans, mortgages. etc.
Monthly and annual budgets
Childcare issues, such as parenting schedules, school tuition, medical bills, etc.
Maintenance and Child Support
Medical Insurance
Pensions and IRA’s
Personal property
Tax Planning
How Does Mediation Result in a Divorce Settlement?
After the couple has come to an agreement and issues resolved, the divorce mediator will write up the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for you to submit to the courts to finalize the marriage. If you'd like to get confirmation, you can certainly have your own lawyer review the final agreement to make sure everything is in order as agreed. The courts, once submitted, weill issue a divorce decree.
